Dhanush’s Back To Basics

 Actor Dhanush was a leading Tamil actor once. But it’s a distant past now as his last few films have bombed at the box-office. Now, he has realized where he had gone wrong and is working hard to get the rhythm back.

The actor’s career started dipping after his father Kastoori Raja signed dozens of films out of greed. He shifted his ‘boy next-door’ image, which was his main strength to larger-than-life super hero image in ‘Puthukotayil Saravanam’ and ‘Sullan’, which were terrible failures.

Now, the actor and his father have realized their mistake. Recently, they launched a new film titled, ‘Thiruvilayadal’. It is a comedy film with modern touch. Dhanush’s sister Vimala Geeta is the producer and Bhoopathy Pandian is the director.

But the film is in hot waters as Sivaji Ganesan’s fans objected the used of the title, alleging that this mythological film is one of the best films of the icon. Sivaji Ganesan Fans President K.Chandrasekharan said that it would be a disgrace to Sivaji and one of the all time classics of Tamil films if the title is used. So, they have requested producer Vimala Geeta to change the title of the film.

Whatever maybe, Dhanush surely is heading for another milestone. Here is an actor who sacrifices everything for his film.
