All eyes on Saranya

People with film background certainly have an edge over the rest as far as getting into films is concerned. But it would not be easy to be in Saranya’s shoes. Being the daughter of popular artistes Bhagyaraj and Poornima, Saranya has to shoulder huge expectations from the people. All eyes will be on this young girl, as she plunges into film with ‘Parijatham’.

Saranya acts opposite Prithviraj in the film. The hero had earlier tasted his share of success in Malayalam films. But the actress is making her debut with this film. Still she could make it, as she has the talent and also her own father is going to direct the film.

The pretty girl said that she has given her best in the film, with encouragement from Prithviraj and help from her dad. But she revealed that her relationship with her father on the sets of the film was very professional. She also said that it was her brother Santhanu who was planned to take a plunge and not she. But she later made her way into it. She is now happy that things have come out very well.

Bhagyaraj on the other hand is happy with her daughter’s performance during the first twenty days of shooting. He said that Prithviraj’s performance is impressive. He also added that a good start is needed while working with a fresh pair. However, the director said that the fate of a film lies on its script, narration and presentation. He also said that the film would entertain his fans, as he knows their taste.

Meanwhile, the director is also doing a cameo role in the film. He is making strides not only behind the camera but also in front. He plays an important role in a new film title ‘Asokamitran’ which has Dhanush in the lead.

But the weight is not on the director but on his daughter. Saranya surely has to sweat out to defend her family reputation.
