The shooting of Kanden Kadhalai is scheduled to take place in Chennai and Ooty. Kanden Kadhalai is the remake of Bollywood super hit film starring Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor as lead actors.

The Hindi version is said to be inspired from Hollywood flick ‘A walk in the clouds’. The film was about the hero and the heroine who has different attitudes and meets in a train compartment during a rail journey. The interesting incidents that happen during the journey are narrated in a poetic way in that film.

Bharath and Tamanna are in the lead roles in Tamil version. Both are acting together for the first time.
