The ‘Mappillai’ of Superstar Rajinikanth is happy about the way his forthcoming film ‘Mappillai’ has been shaped up. Needless to say, the movie is a remake of a yesteryear Superstar’s blockbuster of the same title.

The actor, who recently attended the high-profile audio launch function of the film in Chennai, wrote on his microblogging page: “Mass kuthu numbers with my raasi remix! Visuals are much better.”

‘Mappillai’, to be distributed by Sun Pictures, is directed by Suraj. The director earlier gave a hit with the same combo- Dhanush and Sun Pictures- in ‘Padikadhavan’. “Our alliance should rock again,” the actor says.

Currently, Dhanush is busy working with Hari for ‘Venghai’, which has his ‘Padikadhavan’ pair Tamannah opposite him. “It is a racy script and it is my longtime urge to act in Hari’s direction,” he says.
