Titled Thoranai, the movie is
directed by Sabha Ayappan. He worked as assistant with director Mouli in Pammal
K Sambhandham, Nala Damayanthi, with Shaji Kailash in Jana, Alli Thantha Vabnam
with Viji and movies including Devadhaiyay Kandein, Thiruvilayadal Arambam and
Malaikottai with director Boopathy Pandian. The story, screenplay and dialogues
are also by Ayappan.
Vishal joins hands with Shriya for the first time. Prakashraj, Kishore,
Pandirajan, M S Baskar, Sreeman, Santhanam, Livingston, Pyramid Natarajan,
Shanmugarajan, T P Gajendran, Mayilsamy, Geetha, Aryan, Suman Shetty, Paravai
Muniamma among others.
The movie to floors with Vishal’s introductory song Vedi Vedi Saravedi….Adi Adi
Athiradi…… shot in Karaikudi in a huge set erected resembled a village
festival.The song was composed by Mani Sharma was sung by Ranjith. The huge set
comprised a 60-feet statue of Goddess Durga and over 500 shops. Erected in 45
days by art director Velu Prakash and his team, the set was visited by many
local people. |
