Sibiraj, son of popular hero Sathyaraj, made his debut with Student No. 1. Though the movie failed miserably at the box office, he followed it up with a decent show in Jor which starred his father along with him.

After a disappointing stuff in Mannin Maindhan, Sibiraj was considered down and out. However thanks to his caring father, the actor has now three films in his kitty - Kovai brothers, Pattasu and Vetrivel Sakthivel.

While the first two are under production, the third one is ready for release. Meanwhile, Selvah who directed Student No 1 and Jor, has revived Mamu which features Sibiraj in the lead role, which was shelved some time ago.

Mamu will go to floors after Selvah's two other projects - Aanay and Manikanda are released.
